8k8k was a New Facepunch Republic operation base to revitalize the republic during its time of slight decay due to leadership and member shifts. It began by Jeffrey_214, the republic's Vice President, in late April 2020. It was griefed on May 20th, 2020. Although suffering attacks, most never did much, and the base truly fell when completely lavacasted on the 20th.

Jeffrey_214, the newly appointed Vice President of the republic, attempted to create a project in late April for the republic to reanimate some decaying aspects of it. At the time, chezhead was absent, leaving Jeffrey in full command. The project was an early success, with great activity and prosperity. It was nicknamed "The 8k8k of the NFPR."

Griefing[edit | edit source]

Reports claim the griefing was done by "mxhd" on May 20th, 2020. The base had suffered from minor lavacasts and small griefings for the past 2-3 weeks before its fall, mainly due to being in direct connection to the overworld Northwest highway. Its strength to stay was activity amongst members and spaced out builds in construction. Materials were also provided by a variety of members. Shortly after, it was replaced by the more prominent SBA (Spawn Base Alpha).
