Airships

Airships (more commonly known as flying machines) are redstone contraptions used by players to fly around the server. There are many variations of airships that can be built. A lot of oldfags have their own designs which brings a small bit of uniqueness in airships. Some are more complex and some are much more simple.

Materials

Most airships require the following:

• Slime Blocks (somewhat difficult to acquire)
• Redstone Blocks (easy to acquire)
• Sticky Pistons (somewhat easy to acquire)
• Minecart/Boat (easy to acquire)

Please note that extra blocks may be required depending on the design.

thumb|220x220px|Basti's Bomber being used for Offtopia's DrainBasti's Bomber- an airship built by BastiVC with the intention more to be a bomber rather than a passenger plane (however can be used as one by adding extra blocks). It is equipped with duped tnt, allowing it to rain tnt indefinitely. It is capable of carpet bombing large areas. According to Fit , it is more destructive than a wither.thumb|220x220px|Simian Shuttle Replicathumb|220x220px|A Simian ShuttleIt was intended to be used by the Blind Eye Clan in order to level spawn but never happened due to the Clan constantly being interrupted and disbanding. It was eventually used by Team Veteran for an attempt to bomb thumb|184x184px|Fit's Original Airshipspawn in order to make spawn more difficult to navigate than it already was for Rushers . The bomber created what is known as Basti's canyon in a test run by Team Veteran during the Rusher War . Team Veteran then abandoned the attempt. The bomber design has also been used to clear the hole for Offtopia's Base, The Drain.

Fit's Airship- An airship designed by Fit in which players can use to travel long distances or traverse over the chasms of the End. It has recently been upgraded to include the new observer block. Fit used these airships to perform the first manned flight over spawn, beat the minecraft airship flight record, and to build in the end.

Simian Shuttles- Simian Shuttles were built by the players inhabiting Avalon City and were first flight tested on May 27th, 2015. The City included an airport in which the builders called "Avalon Air" where players could fly off these airships and could tour the base and land on several landing pads scattered around the city.thumb|220x220px|Fit's Reformed Airship

Ice Airship- An airship platform that was designed by ilmango who is not a player of 2b2t. However, players of 2b2t have found his design and used it for the creation of a Water Cube that used to flood spawn. The airship creates infinite ice by constantly making an infinite water source and then continuously freezes it. An older design required the use of an armor stand but has be removed in newer models.

The above is false, the airships used were not based on this principle. To make the watercube, flip just manually got two sides done manually and used a flying platform to spread the water as shown in
