Pacific Heights

Background[edit | edit source]

Pacific Heights was a group base founded by Lifeisgood72 on November 21, 2016 and destroyed by 0xymoron and Slappnbadkids on January 4, 2017. The base was founded around the time of the 20/20 dupe. The base was originally supposed to be a 1900s wild western town, however the dupe changed Lifeisgood72's ambitions. Having unlimited access to previously hard to get blocks such as quartz, he decided to build a futuristic city. Because the city was built westward, it was named Pacific, and because the buildings were tall, it was named Heights. Pacific Heights is also the name of a well known neighborhood in Los Angeles, California. After the base was a month old, Lifeisgood72 decided to start inviting players.

Builds[edit | edit source]

The base was futuristic themed so the builds are built accordingly. Using both contemporary and post-contemporary buildings for reference, the builds were very unique for 2b2t. Some builds were inspired by real life buildings. Others were straight up copies of real life buildings, such as the Burj Al Arab from Dubai. The road layout was similar to that of Chicago where they create a strict grid-like patten, where multiple buildings are placed per city block. Highways with Minecarts, along with an underground subway system that took you to different parts of the city were started, but never finished.

Demolition[edit | edit source]

On January 1st, Donster arrived at the base after being invited by Lifeisgood72 with one plan in mind: to grief it. At the time, he had a Vault Clone server and a world download of a base that few people knew about would be perfect for him. He took the world download, uploaded a few cinematics of the base his YouTube channel, then gave 0xymoron the coordinates. 0xymoron invited Slappnbadkids to grief the base. On January 4th, 2017, Pacific Heights had been griefed, ending the relatively short lifespan of the base that was home to 6 people.
